Raelee HoodRaelee Hood, Associate

Raelee brings to ReVISION a wealth of experience working with adolescents and adults in multiple treatment environments including training in group facilitation and process, conflict resolution, and communication building. Her background includes substance abuse, trauma/abuse and codependency counseling in individual and group settings. In addition, she has served as Program Director for a large residential facility for women with children and Clinical Director for alcohol and drug programs while also leading sessions for families, adults and teens. Raelee earned her Masters and Bachelor degrees in Psychology from Antioch University. Tanya Wardner, LMFT

Tanya joins ReVISION with expertise in mental health services for teens and their families. Her unique set of tools determines areas within an individual that needs healing, then adapting a treatment plan to meet specific goals. She is passionate about helping people through the struggles of life including anxiety, depression, trauma, and addiction. Tanya graduated with a Master’s degree in Psychology with an emphasis in Marriage and Family therapy from Phillips Graduate Institute. She earned her Bachelor’s degree from California State University, Humboldt and is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist Intern/Art Therapy.

David De La Vega, Associate

David brings to ReVISION a wealth of experience and education in counseling and therapy. David incorporates his unique talents to all facets of individual, group, and family sessions. He seeks to understand his client’s personal goals and guides them towards successfully implementing each one. David’s background includes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Psychodynamic Therapy, and Play Therapy. David graduated with his Master’s Degree in Counseling Psychology at Argosy University in Orange, CA. He also earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Chapman University in Orange, CA. David is also affiliated with the California Association of Marriage and Family Therapy.

Ryan Heapy, Associate

Ryan comes to ReVISION with a passion for counseling individuals, couples, and families. He is Comprehensively Trained in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), a cognitive behavioral treatment emphasizing individual psychotherapy and group skills including skills for mindfulness, emotion regulation, distress tolerance, and interpersonal effectiveness. He has extensive knowledge working with young men, substance abuse, suicide prevention, support groups, and depression. Ryan earned his Master of Arts degree in Clinical Psychology with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy, both from Pepperdine University Graduate School of Education and Psychology. Ryan is a registered Marriage and Family Therapy Associate and Professional Clinical Counselor Associate by the California Board of Behavioral Sciences.

Ed Segawa, LMFT, Clinical Supervisor

Ed brings his counseling and marketing skills to ReVISION. He is an award winning marriage counseling specialist. He has been recognized by the Cal. State Senate, US Congress and County of LA for “outstanding and invaluable service to the community. He has a proven record of accomplishment successfully helping couples, families and people who struggle with depression and anxiety. His work with affairs of various kinds is groundbreaking. Since all relationships, communication, anxiety and family problems are systemic in nature, his unique experience gives his ability to identify and resolve your problems a huge advantage over other counselors. Ed earned a Master’s degree in Psychology from Azusa Pacific University and his Bachelor’s Degree from California State University, Fullerton.


Tom LesterDr. Thomas C. Lester, MD, Medical Director

Dr. Thomas Lester is a licensed Physician and Surgeon who is also Board Certified in Psychiatry. He is currently a private practitioner of Adult and Adolescent Psychiatry. Dr. Lester has a broad background providing and overseeing psychiatric services.

At Oak Grove Institute in Murrieta, which is a residential treatment center and school for children and adolescents, Dr. Lester was a founder and served in several capacities, eventually becoming the Chief Executive Officer and Executive Medical Director. Oak Grove Institute served more than 900 children and adolescents during his tenure there. His other positions have included service as Interim Medical Director at La Paz Psychiatric Facility in Long Beach and La Casa Psychiatric Facility in Paramount. In addition, Dr. Lester was a Staff Psychiatrist at CPC Los Angeles County and a contract Psychiatrist at the California Institution for Women in Corona. He also served as Medical Director and Program Director at Charter Grove Hospital in Corona.

Early in Dr. Lester’s career he held positions at the University Of California Department Of Psychiatry in Irvine; at Santa Ana College, Student Health Services; and also at the University of North Dakota Department of Psychiatry in Grand Forks, North Dakota. Dr. Lester’s earned his Medical Degree from the University of Missouri – Columbia, MO. He served his Psychiatry Residency at the University of California, Irvine Medical Center, Orange, CA.

Jim Sando, Administrative Director

Jim Sando has decades of managerial experience and expertise in developing teams and systems to make it possible for businesses to grow to their full potential. Jim bases his success in organizational development on a philosophy of identifying what customers and other stakeholder want and then organizing the organization’s resources to deliver on those desires. This has led to some exciting growth situations, from increasing sales by $10M to turning around divisions with lackluster performance into highly respected contributors to the company’s success. Creating driven teams, structuring effective processes, and implementing successful communication campaigns are the approaches that Jim has used to create responsive companies, whether they be retail, service, or financial services organizations.

Adrian Castro, Business & IT Operations

Adrian has progressive experience at start-up, mid-sized and global organizations in addition to nonprofit organizations. He is an entrepreneurial leader with a broad accumulated knowledge base. His core strength is a high capacity for connecting disparate ideas within complex situations to create successful outcomes. He initially focused his career in healthcare and nonprofit organizations bringing quality and excellence. He then transitioned into Fortune 100 technology companies such as, Hewlett-Parkard and Oracle, where he built highly profitable divisions. His background includes operations management, organizational development, financial discipline, customer relationships, technology assessment and implementation, analytics, strategic planning, and driving transformational change. Adrian holds a Bachelor’s degree from California State University, Fullerton along with multiple business and operations certifications.
